First viewed 16:9 TV channel or video is always 4:3 cropped on MVP

Wasn't sure whether to put this in the beta feedback forum or the MVP forum, but here goes...

After first switching on my MVP, if the first thing I do is watch a 16:9 TV channel, the picture is displayed as 4:3 cropped. If I switch to another 16:9 channel, it displays correctly as 16:9.

Similarly, after first switching on my MVP, if the first thing I do is watch a 16:9 video (either imported or a TV recording), the picture is displayed as 4:3 cropped. The second 16:9 video I watch displays correctly as 16:9.

In both of the above cases, the aspect ratio of all TV channels and videos is always correct until I switch off the MVP and switch it back on again.

This behaviour occurs with SageTV 6.0.19 and 6.1.3. My MVP is revision 2.05.

Changing the video source aspect ratio in the Detailed Setup doesn't appear to make any difference.

Does anybody else have this problem?

Steve.

Seeing that behaviour too, also with 6.1.3 and the MVP; but I think it is there with Placeshifter as well.

Haven't got round to putting in a detailed bug report yet.

I forgot to mention that I submitted it to Sage as a bug report yesterday.

Hopefully if everybody who has the problem submits a bug report, then Sage are more likely to do something about it.
