xcard DVD playback issues

I am playing back dvd through xcard and am seeing the picture stop about every two seconds or so and then start up again. I am passing this through to Holo3dgraph card for output. When I use the Xcard player it works great, but when I use sage tv it does this start stop rountine over and over again. Anyone else seeing this.

Also how do you pick the output of the xcard from sage tv?

As usual any help would be great.

You can't use SageTV and Xcard to playback DVD

I can use it for the decoder. I am assumming i am just using the decoder. What is driving the dvd playback. I am guessing it is sage itself.

No it had to do with DirectShow which lack the codes for DVD support under DirectShow.
For reg MPEG-1/2/4, MP3, DivX file it using DirectShow drv
For reg DVD it using MCI drv.
SageTV can only use the DirectShow drv so Jeff or somebody eles would have to wirte in a custom plug-in for MCI drv becuase Sigma Designs has not made ture WDM base drv for the Xcard so for now only JovePlayer can make full use of the Xcard.

Where can I learn more about this? I got graphedit to see how it is all hooked together. I noticed when i rip dvds to hd it works correctly. Why is this? Does the format get converted, or is it something to do with the transport.
