HDHomerun No Video

I posted this problem on the HDHomerum forum, but so far no resolution, so I thought I would post it here. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

I had had my HD Homerun for around a month with no significant problems. But for the last couple of days, I cannot get video (either from the VLC or from Sage). My signal strength, quality, etc. is all strong. The raw channel rate is a high number. My network rate says 0. I have rebooted, etc. without any luck. Any suggestions?

Brent

I would add this...

I don't how important this is and I do not know if the switch occurred about the same time as I lost my video on HDHomerun- but I recently switched broadband service from a cable company to DSL. Under my current set up, from the DSL modem/router, it runs to a Linksys switch. At the switch, my HDHOMErun and all relelvant computers are ported out.

Under my old system, from my cable modem, I went to a belkin router, and from there to the switch with the relevant ports.

My DLS modem/router has some additional ports. I wonder if it would make a difference if I moved the HDHomerun to one of those ports? ( I may try this when I get home).

Are these your local HD channels (ABC HD, CBS HD, etc) or other HD channels such as TNT HD, Discovery HD, ESPN HD, etc? The reason I ask is that is possible that your cable co started encrypting your non-local HD channels. They may also have changed the physical channel #'s. You can rescan your channels with the HDHomerun tool and see if it comes up with different phisical channels. You may even want to rescan with it hooked up to a standard TV antenna instead of cable and see it you can see the video using OTA.

This happened with Comcast Seattle yesterday. They moved HD NBC and put TNTHD and INHD in its place (both of which are encrypted.) Didn't realize it until trying to play back My Name is Earl, Scrubs and ER later on that night.

Thanks, one downside I've found to using the HDHR with Comcast is they seem to constantly be adding channels. This is another downside.

Adding channels is a good thing. Moving around the existing channels for no apparent reason when they do is what gets me.

I only watch the HD locals off Comcast (I only have limited basic), so the adding the new channels doesn't do anything for me. Unfortunately, I've yet to find a way to limit Sage to the 35 channels, + HD locals that I get with limited basic.

I should have mentioned this-- this is OTA signals.
