Missing Menus

I have a recent installation of Linux OEM SageTV but I seem to be missing some of the functionality that is described in the manual:

(1) Under the "Detailed Setup" menu under the main Setup menu, there is no DVD option in any of the sub menus. Also, there does not seem to be any way to play a DVD either from a copy of the DVD on the hdd or directly from the DVD drive.

(2) There does not seem to be any way to burn a copy of a recorded TV show to a DVD drive from any of the menus or sub menus.

This last question is sort of outside of the scope of STV, but what is the best way to copy a DVD to a HDD without doing any encoding ... just making a copy of the video_ts and audio_ts directories. The reason I ask is that I seem to get read errors at byte 0 every time I try to either 'cp' the files or use tar to copy the files.

Thanks for any help.

Mike

There is no DVD player on the Linux version. The Placeshifter client, which the Linux version uses as its UI, does not support DVD playback.
