pcHDTV 5500 Support
Hi everyone. Well I decided to ditch linux and move to windows for my PVR needs for reasons that aren't particularly important here. My Current set up is as such:
Proc: Celeron 2.5 GHz (I know, I know. I get away with it using the GeForce MPEG2 decoder) Ram: 512 Megs Video Card: GeForce 6200 Capture Card: pcHDTV 5500 My question is this: I know the pcHDTV series cards are built for linux, but the 5500 have driver support in windows since they're based on the same chipset as the Dvico Fusion Gold RT, so how does this card work in SageTV? I am trialing both Sage and BeyondTV, and Beyond picked up the card no problem. I was watching TV in about 10 minutes. But the interface is uuuuugly and its not a true Media Center app anyway. I want the integration. Sage sees the card, but is having issues tuning to a station (ATSC) with it. Any ideas? Thanks in advance! |

I didn't notice it on the list of supported cards for SageTV. Your best bet would be to contact SageTV directly to ask about supporting it.
