Possible problems with Vista

I just loaded Sage Client on a machine that was upgraded to Vista Ultimate. First Windows automatically changes it's video mode to be compatible. When I try Live TV, it automatically goes to channel 663 that says sign-off, and the picture goes black. Is this just that the Client is not compatible with Vista yet or do I need to adjust some setting??

I have a little more info on this. Windows changes its color scheme to be compatible. If I open the client on another machine, and then the one on the Vista machine. I can see the channel selected by the other machine. The problem may be with the channel selection on the Vista machine. It doesn't seem to get all of the digits. I also noticed that the mouse works differently on the Vista machine. The back button doesn't go to the previous screen, but in XP it does. Has anyone else tried loading the client software on a PC with Vista? If so, are you seeing similar problems?

Make sure you have java 6 installed on your machine.

Also, try using VMR9 in Vista, instead of overlay.

Mouse button functionality for the extra buttons is determined by your mouse settings in Windows, so maybe the Vista default is different or the settings have been changed?

I found something about VMR9 and made the change, but it didn't help. I have been looking for Java 6, but so far have found version 5 update 10. I also noticed that many of the keyboard keys don't work the same, and that channel number entered aren't working. I can enter 2 digits and I need 3. All of this still works properly on the client that is on an XP machine. It's probably all setting somewhere, but so far, I haven't found them. It keep going to channel 663 and says signed off.

Even though it has been released out of Beta, Java 6 is not the automatic Java download. You have to look for it as a manual download, and that it is a newer version.

Here is the link to the Java 6 releases, http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp. All you need is the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6

I tried both the VMR9 and Java 6. These haven't made any improvements with the problems I'm having.
