What are optimal settings for HD recordings
I have gotten my HD Homerun running and can record HD programs. I have not adjusted my quality setting (currently set at "great"). But what setting should I use for HD recordings off the Homerun to get a true HD experience? Is the Max quality setting (5.9 gig per hour) necessary or can I choose a lower setting. ("Great" is great, but I guess I am greedy.).
Also, my video/audtion settings are still at their defaults. Is there any reason to alter those? Thanks, Brent |

Those settings deon't affect HD. HD comes in as mpeg with no encoding done.
