artist info update available for download

Just uploaded a fix to correct missing artist info caused by recent changes to yahoo's music site.
Just unzip the file into the sagetv base folder overwriting the existing files:
slimplayer-ai.xml and slimplayer-ai-news.xml.
No restart of sageTV is necessary.

cheers

Koelec,

absolutly love this plugin. I have been using it for a while now and i dotn' think i can live without pandora and Sirius on my TV's...

With that said i was wondering if you have any plans to port this, or build a new slimplayer plugin for V7..

Thanks, and sorry if someone already asked this and i just missed it...

Yeah, indeed, this addon is irreplaceable. You can still use your sageMC STV that you used with sageTV 6.xx after you upgrade to SageTV 7 beta. I'm not sure whats happening with sageMC... if people will continue to use it or use the default STV from version 7. Or, perhaps maybe "Ortus" will be the next version of sageMC.

I'll ask Koelec to see what he thinks.. I'm guessing he will be motivated to port it to version 7's STV since I think he uses the default V.6 STV currently; and, will want to upgrade at some point.

in other words - I used to have softsqueeze and slimserver on a client htpc, and I would control playback through the web interface on the laptop. Now I have an extender - can I do the same with that?
Hi, Can this been done now?

Start playback has to done via extender (involves start 'viewing' the slimplayer channel). After that you can use squeezecenter's web interface.
