A few questions
I'm relatively new to SageTV and I have a few questions now that I have been using it for a few weeks.
1) Is there any way to force SageTV to always have the "Video Always On Top" option set. Everytime I start Sage, its unchecked. 2) After I finish watching a favorite recording, I don't get that message asking if I want to delete the file. I do get it after watching a manual recording. Is there a reason for this? (because I normally want to remove those shows after I watch them so it doesn't clog up my SageGuide with 20+ recordings) I know I can delete them manually, but it would be easier if it prompted you after you finished watching a recording. 3) I like to use standby mode (S3 - suspend to RAM) when I'm not using my computer. Once I wake the computer, though, I get no audio for new recordings (Live TV). I can play older recordings (before the computer went into standby), and I hear audio. The only way I can get audio back is to restart the computer (which probably means it isn't Sage's fault, because it doesn't return if I restart Sage). I'm using the Yuan MPG600 card, which I know isn't specifically supported by Sage. I get audio if I use the PVR software that came with the card, though. Anyone experience this with other tuner cards? Thanks, Peter |

1. I don't believe there is currently a way to set this as a default. This may be possible in version 2.
2. Favorites are deleted based on the parameters established in the Favorites Manager for each show. Currently the default is "Automatic" which will delete the watched favorites when SageTV needs more space. Once you watch them it should move them to the bottom of the list regardless to get them out of the way. 3. There's a workaround available for this right now. A forum search should bring you the result. We're looking at a more integrated option right now for version 2.
