new user confusion

As a new user I am having a few problems. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

1) Is there a way to jump through the Sage guide by whole days instead of just a few hours at a time?

2) How do you set a daily program to record just on selected days? For example "Nightly Business News" just on Fridays.

Thanks,

Lynn

1. Hit the "number" of days you want to jump ahead and then hit the "FF/Skip Forward" button to jump.

2. You'll have to do this with manual recordings for now. With version 2 we will give you "VCR-like" functions so you can do a recurring time-based recording for occasions like this.

1) Thanks, makes perfect sense. Sorry I didn't find it myself!
2) I've found I can get what I want pretty easily by using the "keep at most" facility.

Overall this all works really well. I'm still getting used to it and debugging.
