Remember, my high school daughter wants an HD Extender for her room. We don't want to disappoint her. So, if it helps I would be glad to be a beta tester.

(How can they possibly resist a HS daughter story)

I like it too.

Hey Jeff (Narflex), jealousy and envy are such bad emotions and you've got the cure!

I'm just having some fun while we wait...

I'm also looking forward to 6.1 with the cure to H.264.

They may have run into issues... In any case, they always said Q2 for the extender, which could be 1-4 months out, assuming no showstoppers on hardware or software.

Personally, I think the problem being worked on is a deep conflict between the founders about whether or not a kerned font is appropriate for the MAC address label on the back or not. Until this critical issue is agreed on, nothing can ship...

Thanks,
Mike

I'm not aware of any open sev 2's for my kitchen appliances at this point .. I hope it stays that way.

I may be able to wait another month or two ..

1-4 months out ? I can wait, but I have a cheap 42" Plasma on the wall in my computer room aka my back bedroom that's getting really bored with its SD MVP.

My client cost me over $1000 and it still has a trouble playing every video I throw at it reliably. If this thing materializes, plays back media flawlessly out of the box, and costs less than $300 count me in.
