Turning ComSkip ON/OFF From MPV Remote?

I am using the ComSkip module with SA/DirMon2 and it works well.

Once in a while, SA (ShowAnalyzer) messes up on the dectection of commercials and it's hard to go back/forward into the blank-out sections of the recordings.

I know that I can turn ComSkip On/Off with SageTV Menu. Is there a way to setup my MVP remote to toggle ComSkip On/Off?

I have Neilms Menu's if that helps with the setup.

The custom 4 and 5 commands will probably be what you want. They allow you to skip forward or back to the beginning or end of a commercial block. When jumping back to the start of a block skipping is temporarily disabled so that it doesn't jump back to the end of the block. If you're using a fairly new version of the import I believe the left and right arrows do the same thing as the custom commands.

Cool thanks Blade. Yeah, I did not know that. Just to make sure I undestand you, you are referring to the "4" and "5" digits on the MVP remote?

I have the latest ComSkip, so I will try the arrows as well.

The 4 and 5 I'm referring to are custom 4 & 5 in the Sage commands that you'd need to link to a button on your remote. If the arrows work for you then you won't need to do this.

You can also turn it off by using the options button on the MVP remote. Forgot which button it's actually mapped to, but just bring up the Commands menu in setup, and see which buttons are mapped to what.

Then, when you are watching a recording, push the options menu, and turn Auto Comskip off.
