A/V Switch - 4-in and 3-out

I've been googling for a while now and was hoping someone here might know a little more than I do. I didn't even know what it was called until I searched for a good half hour.

I want an A/V Switch that has at least 4-ins and 3-outs. Without getting too into the details of my setup, I have 3 places to watch video on 3 devices and pick from up to 4 different sources. RCA audio ins, and S-Video in.

Anyone know of anything like this?

I've seen plenty of 4-ins and 1-out, but no multiple outs...

Thanks,
john

I may have just made my own solution. Does anyone own a normal 3 or 4-way switch? If they work backwards, then I could just buy two and have one for all my inputs - feed it into the other switch which goes to the outputs.

Do the switches work for data going in the opposite direction? I would think so...

Tons of options in this area. They're called switchers. For example, if you just want to distribute composite, you can use one of the following.
- Xantech ZPR68 (no amp) or MRC88 (has an amp, so you can directly power speakers)
- Russound CAV66

If you want something that you'll be able to use for HD distro in the future:
- Autopatch 4YDM
- Many others, of course just drew a blank. I think Key Digital makes some stuff.

Here's other ones that i've heard of, not sure which of these have the # of zones/etc that you want.
DVI LInk DS-41R
Extron SW* Switchers
Extron System 8+
Extron System 10+
Key Digital KD-SW4x1
Kramer 2053
Neothings Avalon
Neothings Universal
Zektor HDS4.2
The upside is that all of those have RS232 control, so you can do bidirectional monitor and control from inside your PC. What this means is that you can paint a screen with what is on in each zone.

Here's an example of someone who's got a russound CAV66 and the type of screen he created to help him do the actual control. You don't have to do this, but you get the point.
