h264 videos in .ts containers -- problems
Using CoreAVC and MPC it is possible to play hi-def H264 files in .ts containers. But by default, Sage 6 seems to want to use mplayer to play these files, and performance is bad.
By adding the always_use_dshow_player=true config statement it is possible to lock the mplayer decoder out... but something seems to be wrong with the file splitting, or something. There's no audio, plus the video is blocky and weird looking, like it's been rendered at 1/4 size and then scaled up. Has anyone figured out how to get these files to play back optimally? |
