last beta vs official release
Is there a difference between the last beta of SageTV 6.x and the official release version? Or am I already using the latest?

Last 6.x beta was 6.0.17, then offical Release of 6.0.18 and then 6.0.19
There were a couple bug fixes from 17 to 18, and then from 18 to 19, IIRC.

Genreally the biggest difference between the betas and official releases is they turn off verbose logging, which helps memory management and overall speed.
