Proposal to create beta.sagetv.com for release notes, etc.
I recently joined Snapstream's beta program. This gives me access to beta.snapstream.com which manages all their bug reports, feature requests, customizations, user requests, release schedule, road map, etc etc. It's the public's way of communicating directly with Snapstream's development team.
Has SageTV thought of a similar idea to involve the public in shaping future versions of SageTV? We have this customizations section, but we have no clue if/when the customizations and feature requests we're proposing would ever end up in a future product.

Sounds like a good idea, but I can tell you, that it probably would not include a release schedule or road map. SageTV appears to like to keep that under wraps...

I understand your point. But it would be good maybe to have a site that would track bugs and feature requests. So if you submit a feature request, you could see feedback directly from developers and likewise for bug requests. This way it's all tracked in one central repository rather than via many emails and web form submissions.
