Nvidia Resolution lock

Does anyone know if there is a hack or setting in the nForce drivers for the 6600GT to actually lock in the resolution you set up and not let it change if it detects something else.

You may ask why...well I have an HDMI switching receiver between my TV and Sage box, if the receiver is off when I reboot the Sage server, then it will take on the display properties of the receiver and then the TV will not display a picture when the receiver is back on, because it is a resolution is cannot accept.

If I could force the drivers not to auto-config when it detects something else, then I could avoid this problem.

Any ideas? Nvidia forum has been unfruitful in their responses.
