I would imagine that older betas would get removed.

That sucks, my main office computer crashed and I cannot get to my downloaded sagetv install files for a while... I say it "crashed" but it's a bit more involved than that... sending it's motherboard back to the manufacturer to have it refurbished

How to download v.5?

I have a license of version 5 that i want to re-install on my reformatted pc. But i lost the backup CD that i had. Now that 6 is out, i can't find where to download 5. I'd rather not upgrade since i was happy w/ 5 and don't want to spend more money at the moment.

Do i have to resort to downloading a v5 torrent and then use my valid license key?

Thanks,
John

Hmmm ... Would be good if there was a download page here that had prior releases available for download.

Where to download version 5?

I bought sage right before version 5 came out. I realize to get version 6 I would need to pay the $39.99. Right now I just need to do a reinstall of windows and reinstall sage. I think I am allowed to put on the newest of version 5, but can't figure out where to download that at.

Is it still available on here? My searches came up blank.

Thanks

Thanks for the link. Much appreciated. I second the notion of having a page available for downloading the various versions.

Where to find old versions of SageTV?

I'm running 5.0.4.92, and I was wondering if it is the most up to date version 5. It has some problems with DVD playback. Is there an FTP somewhere of old updates?

Where can I find version 6.2 again?

I would like to go back to the release before 6.3.5 (6.2 ?) for SageTv Media Center. I usually have back up of my back ups, but I can only find version 6.1.8. I'm having too many issues with this and don't have the time right now to figure it all out.

I searched for older versions, but can't find anything. I'm sure it's under my nose.

Can ya help a brother out?

I tried what was suggested and get 404 error. Was the actual number 6.2, or 6.2.0 or what? I've tried severial combinations and nothing works.

Could someone please explain what I'm doing wrong?

OK, after trying 9 different combinations I found it. For anyone else who asks it's 6.2.8

Actually, the last v6.2 release version was 6.2.10

v6.2.8 was a beta RC.

Why do we need to guess at the filenames to find an older version? Couldn't a simple webpage be added to the Sage site, or a sticky thread with the older release versions of the software?

So this begs a question... Can Frey setup a public FTP server and just serve up the installers directory for Anonymous users?

That way a single ftp://ftp.sage.tv link will solve all these problems..

Placeshifter for V5.0.2?

Hi all, my hard drive died very suddenly and I cannot find any copy of placeshifter on any of my computers. My Sage Server is running 5.0.2 for over a year now with no problems. Will the new version of placeshifter work or am I screwed? Anyone have the file for version 5? PM me and we can try to make it work.

Bob E.
