Where can I download previous versions of SageTV?

I had version 5 installed and thought I had upgrade rights to version 6. Turns out I did not as indicated when I entered my license key after installing version 6. Unfortunately I cannot find my version 5 installation file(s) now. Can someone please provide a link to download the latest version 5 download so I can reinstall it? None of the new features appeal to me, so I'm going to hold off on upgrading for now.

Thanks in advance!

Where can I download previous versions of SageTV?

I bought STV 4 a couple of years ago. Was happy with it. Tried Version 6 and decided to stick with version 4. Version 6 timed out and screwed up my video and Skype audio. After completely uninstalling it (had to use control panel since there is no "uninstall" icon from Sagetv) all returned to normal. Now I'm ready to return to version 4 which worked just fine thank you, but I can't find where I can download the latest version 4. Can someone direct me to the page. Thanks - Carl.

If I remember correctly, v4 was only beta. Check out the Beta Progress report thread for links to all the betas.

Actually it was version 3 that was only beta. But the version # was changed to 4 when Studio was included.

Where can I get 6.0.18?

I want to do a test and see if 6.0.19 is causing stuttering and locks up on my machine.

Anyone have a link to where I can download 6.0.18, or maybe even slightly older versions too?

All you have to do is copy & paste the download link, then change the version number in that link.

What are the ramifications "downgrading" to a previous sub-version? For example, v6.0.15 was very stable for me, but now, v6.0.19 seems to stutter more, and I'm having Overlay issues (I know, I know, contact support.) Anyway, if I have v6.0.19 installed (that was upgraded from v6.0.15) and want to revert back to v6.0.15, would this be a problem? Or would this require a complete, uninstall and fresh re-install?

Oh, and to possibly complicate matters, when I upgraded from v6.0.15 to v6.0.19, I used the same STV that I was using with v6.0.15.

Can't add much insight but I can tell you that I uninstalled 6.0.19 and installed 6.0.18, and it remembered all my settings. Now, as far is does it fix the stuttering/lock up issues, time will tell.

Interesting about 6.0.15 being stable for you. Maybe I'll try that too. Mine is a new setup so don't have much to lose if something goes wrong. Tivo is hooked back up again so at least the wife and I have something reliable.

Old Version, where do i find it?

Hi

I just did a clean install of windows XP on my system after having some troubles. Before i started i made a backup of the complete sagetv dir. Now i need to install sagetv first before i can get the old stuff back, but i don't know where to find the older v5 setup file. I'm not a v6 user yet, so i'd like to have the previous version.

Cheers,
Henk

I think this is the last release of v5. If not, then just substitute the correct release number.

Can you still download Version 5?

If so, where? Sage's download web page points only to version 6.

Thanks.

I tried changing the version number to download v6.0.12 Beta but it just keeps redirecting me to a "missing file" page, here's what I typed in:

http://download.sage.tv/SageTVClient...2BetaSetup.exe

and
http://download.sage.tv/SageTVClient_V6_0_12Setup.exe

any suggestions?
