Anyone Familiar with the Navis Mpeg Card?
I bought two of these a few years ago... it has no TV tuner, only composite and s-video and audio ins.... it uses, I believe, the same iVac chip as the PVR350.... I installed it with its native drivers and it won't show up in Sage.... with its own funky little app, I can capture via s-video from my cable box and the quality is outstanding.... appears better than that captured with a PV256T in S-Video.... I wonder if I can hack the PVR350 iVac driver to run on it???

the Navis MPEG uses a different chip, the ivac12.... strange, the drivers are WDM and show up in other applications.... I wonder why Sage doesn't see it.. ????

Oh dran I forget your rigth jimwhite I forgot (Wasn't THINKING) there are 2 of them Navis (iTVC12) and Navis Pro (iTVC15) and only the Navis Pro can be use with SageTV.
Why the due to it Custom API which dosen't have a Full DirectShow support. |
