adding channels to EPG? (analog/HD ota & hd cable)

I now have 3 analog tuners for which EPG works fine my cable service
I just added HDhomerun dual tuner.
Tuner #1 is over the air and tuner #2 is for unencrypted digital
channels on my cable.
However I can not specify what epg to use that matches what I
seem to have availiable.
I want EPG to list tv stations that I found on analog channel, ota channel
and digital cable (three different selection for same station)
I am not sure how to map in channel lineup.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Ray

I may want to do a setup similar to yours. So let me know here, if you get a working solution. Thanks!

How about:

Set your three analog sources to use Sage's EPG.

Set up XMLTV for your OTA ( I assume digital channels?) because Sage doesn't offer EPG for those, and the unencrypted, I dunno. I don't know what channels they are.

I gave up for two reasons.
I would need to specify, as a part of record option selection, to record
analog or digital (if digital cable or OTA). Can't do that right now.
OR
have added rows EPG for each different tuner.
Grouping like NBC is channel 2 analog but 88 QAM_HD cable and 33 OTA_HD
ALSO
HD is just not reliable in Buffalo NY
There are many loss of HD signal on cable or OTA. Confirmed
with a 27" HDTV.
I will be setting up a second server just for HD.

Need to select tuner option when watching TV and recording.

It should be great if we could assign an encoder to a channel...

XMLTV Import Tool by StephaneM
Solved all my problems and gave me choices.
The donation was well worth the automation.
