Time for a chat room?
What is everyone's thoughts about making a SageTV chat room? Either on the website (of course if Frey Technologies wishes) or if they don't one on IRC. #sagetv or something?
Just want to hear everyone's thoughts. |

A real time forum to talk about sage is a good idea. A few people have joined #sagetv on efnet (IRC), but havn't been sticking around because of lack of people. It would be nice to get a chat room/channel started.

bah..I guess no one wants a way to find answers about SageTV in realtime from fellow users. Some of us have tried to start a chatroom where we could talk about sagetv and answer each others questions in real time, but the few people that have joined don't stay because there is no one there. If you want to be able to talk about sagetv with other users join #sagetv on efnet. If nobody talks to you at first, stick around. We aren't at our computers 24-7. If you don't know what IRC is or what efnet is:
To get on IRC (the original internet chat) download mIRC from http://www.mirc.com/ Then you want to connect to efnet. Some of the servers are irc.blessed.net, irc.limelight.us and irc.foxlink.net. After that /join #sagetv -Scott |
