MVP Server crashing

I've been using Sagetv on my 55'' wide scrren tv (in my den) for about a month and my wife loves it. She loves it so much she wants to watch her soaps on another TV. My thoughts were to use MVP for the second TV. That's where my problems started.

The MVP server crashes when it searched the directories for the video files. I've tried the 1.0 version that came with the unit, and downloaded the beta from the support website. Same thing happenes.

Strange enough when I run the show_ui program (that clones the UI on my local machine), it seems more stable.

If I can't get this to work I'll have to watch thoses soaps, so any help will be gratefully appricated (sp).

Another question: Does SageTV Client support a remote control. If so, which one. (Can I map an ATI remote)I may use this and build a cheap PC with SageTV Client and return MVP.

If you use Girder, you can use whatever PC remote that Girder has a plugin for.

I use a Streamzap remote on one client, and ATI Remote Wonder on another. Works great.
