nVidia DualTV PAL Version

Hi

currently I use two Hauppauge PVR500 MCE Type B but I'm not happy at all. The picture quality is sometimes not bad but sometimes horrable.
No I saw in several forum entries that teh nVidia DualTuner card would be an excellent replacement for the PVR 500 cards.

On the nVidia homepage I found out that there is a NTSC and PAL/SECAM board available but in the US shop I can find the NTSC only, the German shop doesn't list this card at all.

Does anybody knows
a) is the PAL version supported by SageTV 6.x?
b) where can I buy this card?

Thanks in advance
Webdb

Have you tried to get Hauppauge to replace them with Type A cards. I heard that Hauppauge has gone back to shipping the Type A cards, and I did get 2 of them just a month ago from snapstream.com (they said they will only accept Type A cards from Hauppauge). I don't think the Type B cards have been out that long, you may still be under warranty, and Hauppauge know that there are issues with the Type B.

Thanks for the advice Jack

yes they are still under warranty. I have already two type A cards in my MS Mediacanter which is still in use until I have wired my house for use with SageTV.

I've also tried one of those type A cards and is significantly better

Thanks

Danny
