Digital Audio Help

Greetings all,

Okay, I am now ready to tackle the audio portion of my SageTV setup and I need some help.

I have an Asus A8nX deluxe motherboard that uses the Nvidia chipset, including for the audio.

I am using Purevideo for the video portion and the native Nvidia drivers for sound that came with the m/b.

Here is what I want to accomplish.

1: Stop using audio out from my sound card and use digital/spdif

2: DD output for ripped dvd's "ripped to vob"

3: Have a set output on the coaxial line to my amp, and have the amp control the actual volume of the source. "I can figure out the remote programming myself"

I have the latest and greatest AC3 filter installed, as well as a graphedit program to determine what codec I am using, I simply need a little quideance on what to set and where.

If you need more information please let me know.

Thanks
