how to copy the entire "mediaplayer OSD" widget from one stv to another
Is it possible?
I primarily use the default stv but really want to have the meekell "livetv" OSD (on screen display) show up instead of the default one. I've been tinkering around with making the Sage interface a midnight blue instead of the current bright blue it is. I had some luck with it but now I want an entirely different OSD when watching tv. However, I do want to keep the "options" popup panel that is currently used in the default "mediaplayer OSD" widget. Am I dreaming or is it possible without 12 weeks of programming?

If you're asking how to physically copy whole menus from one STV to another, use the Export and Import commands.
If you're asking which widget references need to be fixed up in order to functionally integrate the imported code into the target STV, that's something you'll most likely have to figure out for yourself by reading through the code. And yes, it's going to be a lot of work.
