One hour off in Sage Guide (XMLTV problem?)
Hi!
Ever since the chance to daylight savings time here in Sweden all shows in the Sage Guide have been one hour off (guide displays shows one hour later than it should). I have checked the following: * System time is correct with daylight savings function enabled. * SageTV is set not to syncronize with server. * XMLTV says timezone +0100 which should be correct for Sweden. * I have of course grabbed new listings several times after the timechange. I have noticed that the data in the XML file is off by an hour as well and this is most likely the cause of the problem (or is this compensated for by SageTV in some way?). Does anyone know the correct syntax for the "SET TZ=" command with XMLTV? Anyone else having this problem in Sweden? Any suggestions on what I should try next? Regards, Andreas Olsson Stockholm, Sweden |

Andreas,
This problem was fixed in version 0.5.20 of XMLTV, the latest version is 0.5.22 but there is no windows executable yet. You should probably wait for a day or two for the latest one. I have 0.5.20 installed and the listings in the epgdata.xml is now correct but almost all shows ends up as No Data in SageTV ... I'll wait for 0.5.22 and see if that fixes it. Is SageTV with XMLTV working in Sweden?
I have successfully populated the guide properly by using tv_grab_dk. But still there is no picture nor sound. =( Do you have SageTV up and running in Sweden? Please, tell me about your setup! Regards Fredrik Gustafsson Stockholm Sweden |

I use o2grabber instead of XMLTV, it has all swedish channels and you can find it here http://www.o2design.se/o2grabber/content_start.htm
Configure it to create a epgdata.xml file in the ..\SageTV directory. Follow the instructions on this site to import the data into the EPG http://mta.techno.org/epg/ Lastly you have to go to channel setup to remap the channels according to your provider, I have UPC Stockholm and this is my setup. The letters in front of the number is for having the channels in the correct order: A20 SVT1 B22 SVT2 C33 TV3 D21 TV4 E36 Kanal5 F26 TV4+ G31 ZTV H35 MTV I29 Eurosport J34 Viasat Sport K37 Discovery Channel L39 Canal+ M40 Canal+ Gul If you have another provider you have to try different numbers until you find the correct ones. Good Luck, Kenneth |
