SageMC: no recording indicator?

I have the latest SageMC 16x9 installed, my sagetv is running in service mode. I never see any recording indicator when a show is currently being recorded. Is this a missing feature or do I have something misconfigured?
There was somekind of option for an indicator in the SageMC options and I set it to enabled but it did not change anything.

check if you have a 'rec_indicator.png' in your SageMCE/Images directory

Oh that's the reason! This file is indeed missing... Where can I find it?
