what did i miss?

last time i was able to get into this everyone was eager about v3.
now we are at v6
its like they learned how to count all the sudden .

so what is each, i assume, major change with each to large version number?
its been so long i cant really recognize the new stuff and i dont see any highlighted new features on the site

working off memory..

version 3 was skipped.
version 4 was released with updated interface + HD tuner support.
version 5 was released not too long after with MVP Extender and Placeshifter support.
version 6 was released not too long ago with new transcoder for the MVP Extender to allow playback of various file formats, new improved Music and Pictures interface, added Google video access, and over all improved interface, plus mac placeshifter client.

3 became 4 with the inclusion of Studio
the rest sounds about right

v4.1 brought the MVP extender, and v6 also includes DVB support and improved HD support, including being able to get EPG data from the HD streams that it receives, among other things.

Chapter 8 of the PDF manual lists many of the changes for each new version... or at least the chanegs made to the manual.
