Component Out Video card
I have an Nvidia 5200 with DVI out right now. I would like to hook my Sage up to my HDTV monitor with Component out to get a HD signal. what video card would you recomend that does Component out? or is there a DVI to Component video converter? my HDTV does not have a DVI input so thats out.
Thanks Dave Packham |

Most modern video cards offer component output. It's usually referred to as "HDTV output" in the specs.
There are transcoders that go from VGA to Component, but it would be cheaper/better to just get a new card. A 6600GT would be a good option. |

Also, keep in mind, many of the 6xxx series cards didnt used to come with the component dongle. Not sure if this has changed, but might be worth checking box contents before you purchase.

I think most of the ones that support component, come with the dongle, but yes, definitely a good idea to make sure it's got one.
