What is going on with standby?
I have just loaded a fresh OS (XP) and loaded up sagetv. I'm using a MCE remote. The remote works just fine. But when I press the PC button on the remote to put the system into standby. the system will not power off. It does shutdown some what, the video goes dead, sounds like the drives power down though. But, the power supply still runs and the fans are running internal.
How do I get the system to fully power off. I've checked everything and can't find why. Thanks

Check your BIOS power saving settings. You need to set the sleep mode to S3 instead of S1.
