Baby monitor or webcam with Sage

Has anyone used a baby monitor or a webcam with Sage? My wife and I are expecting a little one in the spring and I would like to have the capability of using a baby monitor through our existing Sage system.

I have not purchased any hardware for it yet. I'm waiting to see if anyone has any suggestions. Would a simple webcam or security camera work?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

We modulate nightvision IR camera output on our CATV network. We just have the TV's switch to internal tuners and then select the channel we want rather than going through the htpcs.

For us, when the baby monitor starts buzzing, we want to see what's going on quick. And waking Sage or any windows app up even from S3 takes longer than we like.

Otherwise you could take a cheap tuner card and feed the video into it.
