Exclamation Channel changing issue through serial

I've noticed this bit in my SageTV log when it doesn't change channels (it happened again early this morning).

Quote:

Fri 12/22 6:05:05.901 autotune0 analog tuner 'Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II Capture-0' hr=0x0 num=3
Fri 12/22 6:05:06.318 DONE: autotune0 62033928 hr=0x0 result=1 freq:61375000.
Fri 12/22 6:05:06.318 dtvSerialChannel(handle=4044, chan=520)
Fri 12/22 6:05:06.326 DTVSerial Valid Command Recognized for handle 4044
Fri 12/22 6:05:07.075 Incomplete COM Read on handle 4044
Fri 12/22 6:05:07.076 setEncodingProperties0 62033928 DVD Long Play
I'm using serial control to change channels. Has anyone seen something similar before? This is an intermittant problem. Normally happening once every few weeks or so. This time it happened just a few days after the last and I was able to capture it in the log.
