Can not upgrade.
I have been using sagetv since 2.2 with the final upgrade to 5.04 I just purchase the upgrade and followed the screens. Never got a prompt to enter a key. I am still at 5.0 even though it say it finished. When i run the microsoft install clean up tool it shows the sagtv install. When i load sagetv it still show 5.0. What is going on.

I used the link that was provide in my email with the key. sagetv_v6_18setup
http://www.sage.tv/stvautodownload.html Also it looks some of bin files where update but none of the exe. Should i uninstall and reinstall. Will i lose all my information. Last edited by webapprentice; 12-21-2006 at 01:14 PM.

I would uninstall & reinstall. Uninstalling won't delete your current configuration & database, but make sure you install to the same directory where the previous version was installed. You should probably make a backup copy of your wiz.bin file, though, just in case.
