Translating SageMC_169

Hi all,
Forgive me for openening a new thread, but 155 (for now) pages on this STV is a bit big for me.

Using sagemc 6.30, I am interested in translating the SageMc STV into hebrew, and then flipping it to adhear to RTL standarts.

I have started looking at the translation and through the good help her I have been able to start the trasnlation work, with the strings from STUDIO and a few propertie changes:

using this thread:
http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...enu#post184451

i18n_options=en,fr,it,de,es,iw
ui/translation_country_code=iw
ui/translation_language_code=iw

set the propertie param:
wizard/widget_db_file=...SageMC_169.xml

create a SageMC_169_i18n.properties file and
SageMC_169_i18n_iw.properties file.

What this gives me is the ability to change all the text except the text for the MCE style Menus.

How do I change this text, translate it?

If I switch to Sage style menus, then the string substitution works, But I loose the MCE style scrolling.

Where does This STV take the Strings that make up the main menues in MCE style mode?

Thanks,
alon24

P.S.
This is for now, flipping the directions will come later, after htis is resolved (I hope).

Absolutely no problem, people are even encouraged to create new threads for specific SageMC subjects

The menu titles for the MCE style are taken from a List which is dynamically created in the 'BeforeMenuLoad' hook of the main menu. I don't know too much about all this translation stuff, but I could imagine that it only allows to translate static widget names, but not Strings used in Studio code...

Yeah, the dynamic main menu is much more flexible anyway, and since 6.3.0 it offers all the functionality the standard SageMC main menu had - so no compelling reason not to switch ...
