Opus, you seem to know what's going on in detail. What's the status on the HD stuttering and tearing problem many of us have? Is that bug able to be reproduced and a fix in the works for a later release?

I know how to work around it myself and can get stutter free playback, but it's not always doable if I'm recording another program. Then I've got to wait for the thing to stop since the fix is to shutdown sage and restart it.

I've sent a few bug reports with details and logs but never hear back anything, so I'm hoping you'll know something???

I don't use HD, so I don't have any suggestions about it. Keep following up w/SageTV... development doesn't abruptly stop when a release goes out the door.

Live TV has some performance problems on my setup. At first everything's OK, then after about 30 minutes it starts dropping frames, and quickly deteriorates into a slideshow. This is a client/server setup, both machines are pretty beefy and they're connected via gigabit ethernet. Backing up or pausing so that I'm running 10-15 seconds behind live seems to fix the problem but I really don't see why this should be necessary. BTW these are OTA HD channels (which is all I use Sage for).
