HDHomerun--some channels will record but not play in Sage

I've just installed the HDHomerun and configured for QAM support. I am getting great results except for a couple channels. This issue has several posts on the Silicondust forum also.

Problem: Several qam channels are playable through VLC, but not in Sage. Sage can record the channels, but the file will not play back in Sage. I can play the file in WMP9. Post 56 of the 6.016RC thread has an updated directshow dll, but it did not resolve my problem.

Edit: Shows that have finished recording are playable in Sage. Sage just can't access them while the file is being written to.
