Use internal & external EPG info?

I recall in a past update to Sage (not sure when but I'd say since the 4.x beta started) that Sage has a procedure to use the internal guide for some tuners, and an external guide for others? Basically the ability to use Xmltv for say my hdhomerun (since I get channels from other lineups, that I can't associate with any other local lineup, but can customize with Zap2It and XMLTV), and the internal guide for my other tuners.

I remember they put in a way to do it, just can't remember exactly how to go about it, and can't seem to form a search that will find the info .

6. Added EPG Data Soruce subproperty of disable_plugin which can be set to true to allow use of the EPG Plugin on some sources and not on others.

BUT, also looks like there has been almost no discussion about it after the 4.1.10 thread. Also looks like you need to have your lineups for your non-XMLTV stuff set up correctly before you change over to XMLTV and these settings, because the only EPG source you get after that is XMLTV. While that won't be a problem (I don't really plan on adding any new tuners any time soon, 7 seems to keep me recording 99% of the time ), it may be for some. What you have to do is set up your sources that require Sages Internal Parser first.

Close off all instances of Sag,. and edit the properties file to enable the XMLTV importer and at the same time add the epg_data_sources/XXXXXX/disable_plugin=true to your internal parser EPG sourve (fill in the xx'x with your numbers)

Now The XMLTV is the 'Master' fo setting up any source but with the disable plug in set to true SageTV's internal parser will take over for that source.

If you wanted to add a new souce with Sages internal Parser then you would have to disable the XMLTV plug in then set it up and then add the diable plugin property and then readd the XMLTV importer.
