Changing the default IR receiver
I have a USB-UIRT and have it transmiting beautifuly to my Dish 301 receiver using the new send function with Sage.
When I instaled Sage I picked the option to configure Sage to use the Hauppauge remote. I tried to disconnect the winTV 250's IR and use the USB-UIRT as the receive with no success. So can I use the USB-UIRT for the receive with the Hauppauge remote (Gray remote)? Is there a setting I can change, or do I need to reinstall Sage?

Did you enable the USB-UIRT through Detailed Setup > IR Hardware? You may have to restart SageTV for that to take effect. Then you'll need to teach SageTV the Commands via Detailed Setup > Commands.

When I go to Sage detailed setup I dont see IR Hardware anywhere! I am new to it, I have dish 301 and I am having great dificulty to controll it. I did purchase USB-UIRT but I cannot change any channels on my dish
 Please help.Chris
