Sleep problem
Hi,
One feature that I have tried to get to work with my sageTV-computer (only one standalone computer, no server-client setup) is sleep. I want it to go to sleep after a few minutes of inactivity but this doesn't work. I set the windows sleep timer (desktop->properties->screen saver->power settings) to 5 minutes. If I don't have any upcoming recordings the computer goes to sleep as intended but if I have a upcoming recording it doesn't!!! Is this a known problem or? I have tried to search the forums but haven't found anything about this. According to the documentation it should go to sleep and wake up to record any scheduled recordings if I'm not mistaken? I use v5 of SageTV (not v6) and SageMC. |

I have had the same issue and not found a solution. I dont know if other people use sleep or not. If so, please share your setup.

After doing some more tests I'm not sure that it was because I had a upcoming recording, rather that I had network folders mounted (I keep all my music and pictures on a network server that is on 24/7). I removed those shares and the sleep function worked. But I need those shares!!! Hmm, this needs some more testing I presume. Does anyone have any suggestion how to solve this?
