Sage always showing REC in the top corner

I was wondering if this is normal operation for this program to show a red REC indication on the top right side of the screen. If this is the case how can you tell if you are recording a program that you want to record or if it is recording for the options of rew/ff/pause live tv. Thanx all.

If Sage is set to always "display video on Menus", then it will always record. YOu cna change that in Settings>multimedia>video menu options>display video on menus, change to Never or IF Active.

edit: In Sage, Live TV is considered a recording, so you will see the REC indicator. But if you hit STOP and turn off Live TV, then your REC light should dissappear.

And remember that if you don't hit Stop to stop recording live TV (ie: you let it record live TV continuously) all shows recorded will be marked as "Watched" which could possibly affect future Favorites and Intelligent Suggestions. It is best practice to hit Stop when you are done watching Live TV. Also, consider installing the Multi Stop aadd-on. It really makes things more intuitive.
