Photo Viewing - wants

What I use now (home-coded) has a super high WAF. And this is what I would like to see in Sage for viewing photos. It's oriented around using the TV to view photos that come in by email from friends and family. The photos are merely placed in folders in a single file tree. No slide show maker needed.

Menu says
ALL photoss
NEW photos only.

where choosing the latter yields a list of folders that contain "un-viewed" pictures.

The software I now have drops a file in each viewed folder. The date of that file is used as the reference.

All files listed in menus MUST be listed by the photo's data from the EXIF data (if present), not the file creation date.

One thing I don't have that I would like is to view/hear MOV and AVI clips from still cameras with the same ease as jpg's.
