Problem with timeshifting TV

I have only recently installed Sage V6.o as a trial and while it is generally working I have had a problem with timeshifting live TV.

The issue is that while watching TV (using Live TV) I rewound a currenty airing TV program by half an hour and continued watching (ie 30 minutes behind the live telecast). As i was reaching the end of the program the recording cut out with a few minutes to go and no more live TV had been recorded. I hadn't changed from the live TV mode but it was as if it had only recorded that program and had calculated a finish time from the program guide. I have not set up any EPG but i notice that it has developed some program guide information which I presume is from the Digital TV signal.

Has Sage TV used the program guide information to presume the finish time of the show and stop recording?

If so how can i disable this feature so it keeps recording while i am watching that channel?

Any guidance is appreciated.

Each show is recorded to its own file, so that's why the recording stopped at the end of the current show. But, while watching live tv, it should keep recording the same channel & only remove each show shortly after it is over & you've stopped watching that show. It sounds like it got out of live tv mode somehow, perhaps due to rewinding so far. I would submit a bug report to see if that part is operating as it should.
