Use RC as mouse replacement

Hi,

I have a question, I hope this is the right part of the forum...

I use a Hauppauge PVR-350 with its IR receiver to control SageTV.

What I want to do is

- within SageTV keep everything as it is (emulate key presses) but map one button as Alt-Tab.
- outside of SageTV move the mouse cursor with the direction keys of the RC and a press on the OK button triggers the left mouse button, another key maybe the right mouse button.

Is this possible and if yes, which software do I need? Girder? I had a look at Girder at the past but it looked very difficult for me.

Thanks for any ideas,

Oliver

I think girder would do this fine,

I believe ver 4 of girder is more user friendly than version 3, don't know how long ago you had a look. I don't think it would vbe taht difficult to do.
