PVR-500 with PVR-350

Greetings everyone. I am trying to get a PVR-500 to work with a PVR-350. I can setup everything just great with only the PVR-350, but as soon as I install the 500, the remote control stops working. I still get a picture from all tuners, just no remote control. Upon trying to restart the IR software, I get an error message saying that the "IR Hardware could not be initiated"

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

here's a start....

This is a known issue that I myself have wrestled with quite a bit. This thread

has the last rounds of discussion on the problem. I gave up on it here since I really don't have a use for the remote on my server. Would have been nice to get it working though. Opus had a unique idea that almost worked for me.
