Feature Request: Split from Reference

I've run into a situation recently where I want to use a referenced chain as a base for a new, slightly modified chain, or to modify an already in-place referenced chain.

I would love to have the ability to simply right click on a reference and have a 'Split From Reference' that copied the chain to that location for me. Similar to the 'Make Primary Reference', but a copy. Does that make sense?

Am I just being lazy for not wanting to track down the primary reference and copy it?

Anyways. Just an idea...

If you're comfortable coding in Java, you can add this feature to Studio yourself using my Studio plugin manager.

Woah...Very cool stuff. How'd I miss that?

Great job on that plugin. I'll have to see if I can figure out how to do that....
