Transcoding issue with AC3 audio

I am having one issue with transcoding one channel of HD. It appears that my other local channels do not exhibit this problem, but on my local NBC when simply directly copying the AC3 while trancoding the video, the resulting file plays back with audio that seems to be about 2 octaves high. As a work around I am trancoding the audio also and that seem to work but why is this happening?

Are you using SageTV's internal conversion for this or are you doing the conversions yourself with some other tool? If you're using SageTV's internal conversion, please submit a bug report on this.

I have this same problem, and yes I submitted a bug report a few days ago

It just happens on certain HD/AC3 shows.
