I am running Sage 5 with the default STV. I am wondering where the configuration is to have comskip run in the background as i record. If I need a plugin please post the link. Thanks!

I just did a Comskip and Comskip Monitor installation and what you are looking for is in the Comskip Monitor configuration. Run the Comskip Monitor Setup (just "Setup" in the Comskip Monitor directory). It will give you the option to schedule high or low processor operation or no operation at all for any hour of the day.
Did you download the Comskip Monitor package? It had both the Comskip and Comskip Monitor installers in it. It can be found here: http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/down...do=file&id=138 Last edited by Pretzelboy; 11-24-2006 at 08:26 PM. |

Thanks! That is just what i needed. Do you know of a plugin that will pull the commercials from the MPG and burn the file to DVD for the default STV?

Unfortunately I am new to Sage so I can't say what works directly or not. I've seen a lot of comments from people who use (me included) Videora. It can take that notation file and then chop out the commercials. It does a very good job. I've never used Comskip or ShowAnalyzer files with it like others have. I've always used it as a standalone program. You might want to look in the Customizations section for information on that.
