Biostar mini system Ir input

Has anyone got the Ir input of the Biostar mini systems working with Sage. If so how and with what??? I have just ordered a Biostar and want to be ready to setup when it arrives.

If Girder supports it, that'd be the best shot. And then tie that into Sage. (Sage doesn't support the mobo IR directly)
