Question Questions about some Video Library files

I have some files in my Video Library that were recorded by SageTV but renamed by me, that now show a length of 0 min. While these files can can played by SageTV the time indicator does not move and no skipping forward or backward is possible.

What causes this length indication of 0 min?
Is there any way I can correct this?

Another program file still has the original SageTV name but was interrupting during recording and consist of 2 different files using the -1 and -2 appended to the filename. It looks like SageTV does not combine this back when playing as when files of this type appear in the Guide. Has or will any thought been given to combining this type of file when in the video library?
Also, both files for that program show the 0 min length.

I have a third type file file in the Library with the original name and the original recorded length that play just fine. However, the Program details show only the Airing Time and Duration (as do all of the files in this directory). I can understand how the rest of the Detail information was lost but I am confused about why these files are different from the 0 min files.
Can anyone shed any light on this subject?
